Welcome to Signalgrid (“we,” “our,” “us”). Signalgrid provides a cloud-based notification service that enables users to send and receive real-time notifications across devices, including via web and mobile applications (the “Service”).
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Service. By accessing or using Signalgrid, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

3. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service. If you use Signalgrid on behalf of a company or other entity, you represent that you are authorized to accept these Terms on its behalf.
4. Account Registration
To access certain features, you must register an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information and to maintain the security of your credentials. You are responsible for all activity under your account.
5. Free Tier and Subscriptions
Signalgrid offers a free tier allowing up to 100 notifications. Paid subscriptions (Personal and Team) provide additional capacity and features. Pricing and billing details are available on our website and may change over time. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law.
6. Team Accounts
Team owners may invite additional members. The account owner is responsible for managing permissions and ensuring all members comply with these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
7. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Send spam, abusive, or unlawful content;
- Violate third-party rights or applicable laws;
- Interfere with the security, performance, or operation of the Service;
- Reverse engineer or attempt to access restricted components of the Service;
- Circumvent authentication, rate limits, or technical restrictions.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate this policy.
8. Data Protection and GDPR Compliance
Your personal data is processed in accordance with the Privacy Policy and the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). The main lawful bases for processing are:
- Contract performance – providing the Service to registered users;
- Legitimate interests – ensuring system security, preventing abuse, and improving the Service;
- Legal obligation – compliance with EU or Austrian regulations.

Signalgrid may use strictly necessary cookies for session management and authentication. No tracking or analytics cookies are used. You can adjust browser settings to block or delete cookies without affecting essential functionality.
10. Intellectual Property
All trademarks, software, source code, and design elements are owned by or licensed to Signalgrid. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for lawful purposes. No ownership rights are transferred to you.
11. Service Availability
We strive for high availability but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. We may temporarily suspend or modify features for maintenance or legal compliance. Signalgrid shall not be liable for downtime, data loss, or delayed delivery of notifications.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Signalgrid is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of profits or data. Our total liability shall not exceed the total amount paid by you during the 12 months preceding the claim.
13. Service Availability and Delivery Disclaimer
Signalgrid e.U. provides its notification services on a best-effort basis. While we strive to maintain high uptime and reliable message delivery, we cannot guarantee that notifications will always be delivered, received, or displayed without delay or interruption.
Delivery of notifications depends on multiple external systems and networks, including third-party providers, mobile operating systems, and user device connectivity. Signalgrid e.U. shall not be held liable for any direct or indirect damages, losses, or claims resulting from undelivered, delayed, or corrupted notifications, server outages, or technical disruptions beyond our reasonable control.
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without any warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or uninterrupted operation.
14. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Signalgrid and its affiliates from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from your use of the Service, violation of these Terms, or infringement of third-party rights.
15. Termination
You may cancel your account or subscription at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account for breach of these Terms, non-payment, or legal obligations. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases, and associated data may be deleted.
16. Modifications
We may update these Terms periodically. The current version is always available at https://signalgrid.co/terms.php. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
17. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of Austria, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Vienna, Austria.
